Our client is seeking a dedicated Health and Safety Business Partner for their North location with occasional travel to other sites. You will play a pivotal role in supporting the operational management and leadership to deliver an effective health and safety management system, reducing risk and accidents and fostering the development of a safety culture.

What you'll do:
As a Health and Safety Business Partner based in Runcorn, you will be instrumental in delivering, coordinating, and evaluating health, safety, and well being training. Your role will also involve managing allocated projects to enhance site performance. You will work closely with managers to ensure a safe and compliant work environment while overseeing the development of safe systems of work. Your ability to make SMART recommendations will be crucial in ensuring compliance and enabling corrective action.
- Support managers to ensure a safe and compliant work environment

- Act as an internal consultant providing guidance on H&S duties
- Undertake H&S assessments, advising managers through risk assessments
- Support senior management with engaging external stakeholders
- Represent the H&S team in external/internal meetings
- Stay up-to-date with changes in legislation, H&S initiatives and best practice
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Health and Safety Business Partner role is adaptable, able to react quickly and effectively to changes and requests. You should have good leadership skills that allow you to work well within a team. A good commercial understanding is essential along with the ability to work independently towards targets and timescales. Experience in building credible relationships with both internal/external stakeholders is key. An understanding of Warehouse Management Systems would be beneficial.
