Role:Higher Level Teaching Assistant

Location:Halton, Cheshire
Hours: 37hours per week, Monday to Friday (term time only)
Salary: £100 - £120 per day
Successful candidates for the Higher Level Teaching Assistant must have a minimum of Math and English GCSE grade 5 or equivalent, and ideally hold at least a Level 2 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (Learning Assistant) or HLTA teaching assistant qualification.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience working with learners who have SEMH needs.
- Capable of covering lessons with the flexibility and willingness to adapt teaching approaches when necessary.
- Able to provide ongoing support to meet the diverse needs of all learners.
- Can employ strategies to recognise and celebrate learners achievements.
- Utilise detailed knowledge to assess learners needs and support their learning process.
- Contribute to the development, implementation, and evaluation of personalized learning plans for learners.
- Provide regular feedback to learners on their progress and achievements, promoting growth and development.
- Monitor and evaluate learner responses to activities, ensuring appropriate interventions where needed.
- Deliver specialist support to meet individual learner needs effectively.
