Fleet and Transport Manager Based at Runcorn £50,000 - £55,000 pa + car allowance and excellent benefitsWe need a self-motivated CPC Fleet and Transport Manager with strong leadership qualities, needed to take overall responsibility for a multi-site time sensitive busy operation. Managing over 200 fleet. This is a fantastic opportunity for a logistics professional that is a natural leader to make a difference. Must have union experience and experience of managing multi-site operations. Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing this busy operation on a day-to-day basis; co-ordinating the time-sensitive operation to ensure effective use of resource across all functions.
  • Planning the operation to ensure targets and stringent time restraints are met.
  • Continuously improve operational and financial efficiencies.
  • Delivering the P&L; preparing and analysing weekly and monthly reports and ensuring the information is accurate.
  • Ensuring compliance with HSE and HR.

Key Skills/Experience:

  • A strong attention to detail.
  • Strong planning and organising proficiencies.
  • Confident and articulate communication abilities.
  • Must have a CPC.
  • Highly developed people management and delegation skills. With the ability to develop individual team members to their full potential.
  • Excellent IT skills.
