About the role

The Operations Supervisor (OS) is a key member of the delivery team. This role will involve working across the company from Surveying to Site delivery.

The OS will require strong technical skills to inform and support the initial system design put forward by the project team.

The OS will have on site responsibility to deliver works across multiple projects and manage on site H&S, Quality, Efficiency and performance.

Projects may be located across the North East & West of England but may also be located throughout the UK. Travel is therefore an essential part of the role.

Responsibilities

Overview

Providing technical surveys and measurement for the surveying team

Working with the PM and Support teams to ensure stock is available for the delivery teams to install

Ensuring the relevant components and consumables required are on site and available from stores daily

Reporting weekly on site stock levels

Communicating daily with the companys scheduler to improve planning and ensure customers are kept informed of any changes to the installation date

Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with company quality standards.

Ensuring team members adhere to the companys quality requirements.

Ensure an ethos of continuous improvement is maintained throughout the delivery of the works

Lead daily team huddles to ensure that the installation teams have a clear understanding of their workload, performance, and objectives.

Ensure the installation teams update the job management system daily.

Ensure effective communication with the Operations Manager and Project teams.

Check, Inspect and sign off completed work on a daily/weekly basis.

Monitor team performance

Work in conjunction with the project and support team to ensure strong communication between all parties.

Ensure work is completed on time.

Ensure H&S guidelines are always adhered to by all team members.

Ensure all teams follow company policy and procedures.

Ensuring installation targets are met.

Complete (as required) any snags, repair or replacement works

Skills & Experience

Essential

Experience of delivering domestic/residential installation projects

Experience of working in the construction sector

Experience of managing and delivering quality across all works

Delivering Health & Safety across projects

Supervisory and or Management Experience

Meticulous attention to detail

Excellent communication skills & reliability

Professional & courteous

Be highly self- motivated

Can work independently as well as part of a team

Hold a valid CSCS Card

Hold a full UK Driving Licence

Desirable

Supervisor / Management qualification / SSSTS/SMSTS

Experience of the flood sector

Experience of the fenestration sector
