Working within the busy Finance department and reporting to the Financial Controller, the candidate will perform the majority of the accounts payable and payroll administration tasks, whilst gaining valuable experience in the accounts environment.

Hours of work: (these hours are fixed)

37.5 hours per week:

Monday to Thursday 8.45am until 5pm (30 minute lunch break)

Friday 8.45am until 3.45pm (30 minute lunch break)

Key Tasks:

路 Checking weekly time and attendance records and co-ordinating with Supervisors and Managers to resolve queries.

路 Assist the Payroll Manager with monthly payroll processing.

路 Maintaining the payroll information.

路 Any additional payroll related ad hoc duties.

路 Assisting the Accounts Assistant with full cycle accounts payable processes.

路 Assisting in processing purchase invoices (both stock and non-stock invoices).

路 Assisting in complete weekly payment run reports.

路 Assisting in supplier statement reconciliations.

路 Assisting in supplier payment allocations.

路 Assisting in maintaining supplier master files.

路 Performing customs important documentation reconciliations.

路 Ad hoc projects.

Knowledge, Skills and Education:

路 Payroll experience is essential.

路 Experience of Sage payroll is desirable but not essential as training will be given.

路 Be experienced in accounts payable processes, ideally the full process cycle.

路 Navision experience is desirable but not essential.

路 Possess excellent communication and relationship building skills.

路 Have sound judgement and the ability to make good decisions.

路 Have strong IT, numerical, problem-solving skills and strong Excel skills.

路 Be an organised, fast worker with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

路 Be able to work to strict deadlines and prioritise their workload.

路 Tenacious, self-starter, committed and hardworking.

路 Be self motivated with a desire to always achieve high standards.

Salary:

拢26K - 拢32K dependent on experience
