Year 3 Teacher

Are you looking for a long term teaching position? Do you want to lead and inspire a Year 3 class in an outstanding school?

Randstad is recruiting a teacher to cover a Year 3 post in Runcorn. The school is looking for some who can commit to the position for at least 1 full academic year although there is the option of a permanent position for the right person. This role is open ECT's as the as the school will support their development throughout the academic year.

The school is very popular, has an excellent reputation and promotes a family friendly environment at all times.

Requirements:

  • You must have current experience working in Key Stage 2 or be confident in curriculum knowledge / delivery.
  • Be confident in planning your own lessons around the curriculum
  • Provide engaging and stimulating lessons.
  • Ensure you stretch pupils where possible and nurture those who need additional support.

To register for this role, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Be a qualified teacher (The school will consider ECT)
  • Hold, or be willing to carry out, an enhanced DBS
  • Be able to provide professional references to cover you for at least 12 months within the last 2 years
  • Have a flexible, can-do approach
  • All applications are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, professional reference checks, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) in line with our stringent safeguarding policy
  • Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and all employment breaks must be explained
  • You must have legal right to work in the UK
