Location: Runcorn, Cheshire, WA7 3DL and on the road.
Salary: £30,000-£36,000 plus bonus & car allowance.
Contract: Full time, Monday to Friday 08:30 to 16:50.

Sales Executive - Chemicals Role

We are looking for a driven and energetic Sales Executive to join our team at ReAgent. This role is ideal for individuals with a scientific background with experience in sales and customer relationship management. As a Sales Executive, you will support both inbound enquiries and existing customers, driving revenue for a high-growth, ambitious business. The role combines sales office work with customer visits, providing a variety of daily tasks and the chance to make a significant impact on business growth.

Sales Executive - Chemicals Responsibilities

  • Develop and increase sales of bespoke chemical products
  • Conduct regular customer visits, including to customer sites and trade shows, as well as onsite at ReAgent
  • Engage with customers to retain and grow existing business relationships
  • Process customer enquiries, provide quotations, and ensure timely follow-up
  • Offer technical support to the admin team, assisting in product specifications and requirements
  • Manage your time effectively to meet customer needs and ensure sales targets are achieve

Sales Executive - Chemicals Qualifications

We don't require a specific qualification, but the ideal candidate will have a good working knowledge of chemistry and at least two years of relevant sales experience in the chemical industry.

Sales Executive - Chemicals Skills and Competencies

  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise customer requirements
  • Proven experience in a customer-facing sales environment, with a focus on building lasting relationships
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office
  • A high level of integrity and professionalism in all business dealings
  • A full, clean UK driving licence and willingness to travel
  • Familiarity with quality management systems and relevant legislation surrounding the supply of chemical products, especially CLP regulations, would be advantageous
