Your new companyHays Recruitment are recruiting a number of motivated and reliable teaching assistants to support or partnership high schools across Halton on a supply basis. As a supply teaching assistant at Hays you will be able to select your own availability, meaning full-time and part-time options are available.Your new roleAs a supply teaching assistant with Hays you will be supporting our partnership secondary schools across the Halton area. You will be able to select your own availability, giving you access to flexible working options. You will support pupils across KS3 and KS4 on a 1:1 and group basis as required and work alongside class teachers to promote an engaging and stimulating learning environment. Other duties will include but may not be limited to behaviour management, interventions and booster sessions, PE delivery, and general classroom management.What you'll need to succeedTo be considered in your application you must have full "Right to Work" in the UK, a minimum of 40 days referenceable experience supporting KS3 and/or KS4 aged pupils, as well as:

  • Be able to commit to school hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm
  • An NVQ Level 2 Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent qualification is advantageous but not essential
  • A full driving licence and access to a vehicle is advantageous but not essential
