Your new companyDue to unprecedented demand, Hays Recruitment are looking to recruit a number of motivated and reliable teaching assistants to support our partnership secondary schools across the Halton area. As this is on a supply basis, flexible working options are available.Your new roleAs a supply teaching assistant at Hays you will have the opportunity to work in one of a number of our partnership schools. You will work under the instruction of class teachers and aid in offering a stimulating and engaging learning environment by implementing a myriad of behaviour management techniques. Typically, you will be required to offer intervention and booster sessions in required subjects on a 1:1 and small group basis, utilise learning/classroom equipment and manage behaviour, but this may vary depending on the needs of classes and schools.What you'll need to succeedTo be considered in your application, you must have full "Right to Work" in the UK as well as a minimum of 40 days referenceable experience as a teaching assistant within the last 2 years, as well as:

  • An NVQ Level 2 is advantageous but not essential
  • Experience delivering intervention and booster sessions
  • A full driving license and access to a vehicle is advantageous but not essential
