Purchasing & Stores Assistant
Location: Office based in Runcorn (Full time permanent role – 37.5 Hours Per Week)

The role of Purchasing & Stores Assistant:
- Placement and management of production and non-production purchase orders in a timely manner to support all operational and project requirements
- Working with cross functional teams such as Production, Design, Planning, Project Management & Finance
- Booking in and shipping out goods
- Maintaining stock standards, levels, and integrity, including updating of stock records, and spreadsheets
- Updating requisitioning system and managing goods process in line with business requirements
- Liaising with suppliers in line with delivery expectations and updating the systems accordingly
The requirements of the Purchasing & Stores Assistant:
- An individual with previous procurement or stock management experience is desirable, but not essential
- A keen eye for detail, with an appreciation for the importance of data integrity and accurate information transfer
- The ability to analyse data, and collate into digestible report formats
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- A strong communicator with the confidence and temperament to liaise with stakeholders of all levels, whilst operating under the pressures associated with timebound business targets
- A dynamic individual with an appetite to take on new challenges and learn new skills.
- A positive, can-do attitude, who is willing and able to support others achieve their goals
- Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment would also be beneficial
