Based within one of the UK’s leading turnkey specialist manufacturing groups my client is looking to recruit an experienced mechanical design engineer to add to their engineering team. The facility in Runcorn has and will benefit from further investment this year, to increase capacity. This manufacturing specialist is a secure group during the current economic uncertainty and has been established over 25 years, with a global presence and security that comes with a centre of engineering excellence.

The Role - Potential earnings up to £60,000

The successful candidate will ideally be an electrical biased, multi-skilled engineer, who can repair, install, commission and service a variety of manufacturing robotics process machinery within a variety of Industries. PLC fault diagnostic knowledge is the key to the success of this role. This will be a service based role covering the clients across the UK & Internationally, with some trouble shooting, installations and commissioning, mainly utilising PLC systems. The ideal candidate will be from an engineering background, within similar machinery within an automated manufacturing process, but will need to be aware that there needs to be flexibility in the role in terms of time spent travelling and sometimes away from home, as this is a field service engineering role. There is an excellent opportunity for further financial gains with overtime available for the engineers who desire, leading to greater earnings.
