As a Deputy Home Manager, you will:
- Lead on the floor and supervise the provision of quality care.
- Ensure all residents' needs are met, honouring their dignity and individuality.
- Work closely with the Registered Manager, and second Deputy, to maintain CQC standards.
- Liaise with external agencies and manage care plans.
- Deputise for the Home Manager when necessary.
- Be responsible for a 28 bedded residential floor.
For the Deputy Home Manager role, the package includes:
- Annual salary of 34,195 (13.70 per hour) plus paid breaks.
- Full-time position, 48 hours per week, working 4 days from 8am-8pm.
- Alternate weekend working.
- Have experience as a Senior or Deputy in a care home setting.
- Possess a thorough understanding of CQC regulations, DOLs applications, and Safeguarding policies.
- Be an excellent leader and mentor with strong delegation skills.
- Be well organised and able to liaise effectively with external agencies.
- Have a good knowledge of electronic PCS, EMARS, Medication ordering and booking
