We have an exciting opportunity to recruit a Retirement Living Services Team Leader on behalf of a well-established housing association in the Northwest. You will be overseeing a team of 7 Scheme Managers, to ensure the efficient delivery of high-quality, customer-focused housing management and support services across a designated portfolio of retirement living schemes within Merseyside & Cheshire.

This is an ongoing, temporary position contracted at 35 hours per week, with hybrid working.

Your new role

  • Overseeing a team of 7 Scheme Managers to ensure KPI's relating to voids, allocations, tenancy/leasehold management, customer safety and wellbeing are met.
  • Leading on allocations, working closely with partners, local authorities and care teams to maximise income and achieve targets
  • Ensuring your area remains fully compliant with health, safety and safeguarding legislation
  • Responding to queries and complaints from local MPs and customers.
  • Maintain a positive environment for resident engagement, lead on resident meetings, listen & respond to feedback in line with company values and business priorities.
  • Management of budget and services for your area

What you'll need to succeed

  • Good knowledge and understanding of current housing management legislation and the principles of housing & tenancy management including health, safety and risk
  • Experience of managing a dispersed team of staff
  • Ability to produce clear, well-structured information to aid effective decision-making and ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
  • Ability to create a positive & resilient team, listening to customers and making them feel heard
  • Driving licence, access to own vehicle with valid business insurance
