We are looking for a dedicated Social, Emotional Mental Health Teaching Assistant for a full-time, long-term role in Runcorn from April 22nd, 2025, to July 18th, 2025.

Candidates must have proven experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar educational role, along with a good understanding of special educational needs.

Social, Emotional Mental Health Teaching Assistant Location: Runcorn | Contract: Full-time, Long-term | April 22nd 2025 to July 18th 2025

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Social, Emotional Mental Health Teaching Assistant to join a Primary School in the Runcorn area.

The Role:

Provide tailored support to pupils with a range of special educational needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH & Speech & Language difficulties across Early Years, KS1 & KS2.
Assist in delivering individualised learning plans and promoting independence.
Help the students access the curriculum.
Promote their personal, social and academic development.

Requirements:

Proven experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant or similar role in an educational setting.
A good understanding of special educational needs and strategies to support them.
Nurturing & consistent
DBS certificate (on the update service) or willingness to obtain one.
