Social, Emotional Mental Health Teaching Assistant Location: Runcorn | Contract: Full-time, Long-term | April 22nd 2025 to July 18th 2025

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Social, Emotional Mental Health Teaching Assistant to join a Primary School in the Runcorn area.

The Role:

  • Provide tailored support to pupils with a range of special educational needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH & Speech & Language difficulties across Early Years, KS1 & KS2.
  • Assist in delivering individualised learning plans and promoting independence.
  • Help the students access the curriculum.
  • Promote their personal, social and academic development.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant or similar role in an educational setting.
  • A good understanding of special educational needs and strategies to support them.
  • Nurturing & consistent
  • DBS certificate (on the update service) or willingness to obtain one.
