A well-established company based in Runcorn is seeking a Business and Purchasing Administrator to join its team. This is a dual-role position with a strong emphasis on behaviours - we believe that with the right mindset, the skills can be learned.


As Business Administrator, key responsibilities will be to: -


* Manage a portfolio of suppliers to ensure items and services are delivered on time, in full, and to the right quality and cost.
* Support cost-reduction and supply chain improvement initiatives.
* Take ownership of specific suppliers and purchasing sectors.
* Produce weekly and monthly reports, including Safety, Health & Environmental (SHE) statistics.
* Organise and administer yearly audit schedules across SHE, Quality, and Environmental functions.
* Maintain key business databases and support complaint tracking and KPI reporting.


The successful candidate will: -


* Have experience in business administration.
* Ideally have knowledge or experience in purchasing - but not essential.
* Have strong communication skills (written, phone, and in-person).
* Stay focused on priorities and work to deadlines.
* Be able to build positive working relationships across a business.
