Working Hours: Monday to Friday, Office Hours (37 hours per week)
Hourly Rate: 11.59 p/h for the first 12 weeks rising to 11.88 after this period.

Job Description:

We are currently seeking an organised, motivated Admin Officer to support the admin team based at Runcorn MOJ. Duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Collection of financial impositions imposed by the Court accurately allocating money to accounts
  • completing Bank Reconciliations
  • maintaining a suspense report
  • general photocopying and filing
  • creating and updating records on in-house computer system and data input
  • post opening and receipting cash and cheques
  • handling telephone and written enquiries
  • reconciling accounts
  • running reports

Training will be provided on internal systems. Excellent communication and IT skills are required for this post along with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Requirements:
" Minimum qualifications: Five GCSEs at Grade C or above (including English Language or equivalent), NVQ Business Administration Level 2, or relevant clerical experience.
" Strong administrative skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
" Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
