Job Title: Supply Teacher
Location: Wickford, Essex

Salary: £120 to £160
Are you a dedicated and adaptable teacher with a passion for helping students achieve their best?
We are seeking a flexible Supply Teacher to join a warm and supportive school in Wickford. This role involves covering all primary year groups (EYFS to Year 6) for 3 days a week, filling in for teachers during their absence and providing support during PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging lessons across all primary year groups, following the school’s curriculum
- Ensure smooth classroom management and provide a positive learning environment for all students
- Support students' learning and development during the absence of regular teachers
- Follow lesson plans and adjust teaching methods to suit the needs of the class
- Collaborate with staff to ensure continuity of student learning and wellbeing
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience teaching in primary schools, particularly in a flexible or supply role (desirable)
- A strong understanding of the primary curriculum
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- The ability to be flexible and adaptable across different year groups and teaching situations
- A positive and proactive attitude to teaching and student engagement
