We are recruiting an electrically biased Maintenance Engineer for our client in Bury St Edmunds.
Key Responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer:
- Execute scheduled maintenance tasks on all machinery on site.
- Address reactive maintenance promptly to reduce downtime.
- Perform electrical fault finding and testing.
- Work closely with the production team to maintain safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Keep high standards in all work areas.
Experience needed for the Maintenance Engineer position:
- A multi-skilled engineer with a focus on electrical systems.
- Experience in a proactive engineering role within a maintenance environment.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., 18th Edition, City and Guilds 2360/2330, 2382).
- Familiarity with electrical energy technology, PLC, and SCADA systems.
- Welding and fabrication experience.
- Background in using CMMS systems.
- Counter-balance FLT license.
- Proficiency in Word and Excel.
- Willingness to work as part of a team, including shifts and on-call duties.
