Debbie Burbage Recruitment is proud to be working in partnership with our global client based in Wellingborough, who are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Accountant to join their well-established team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working as a true Business Partner - building relationships across the organisation, supporting regional teams, and delivering insightful financial support that drives decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with regional teams across EMEA to provide financial insight and ensure accurate accrual and approval of customer-related spend
  • Monitor and reconcile customer-related balances, ensuring accurate reporting and transparency
  • Deliver regular financial reports to stakeholders and support adherence to internal financial procedures
  • Respond to ad hoc business queries with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
  • Contribute to a positive team culture where collaboration and continuous improvement are encouraged

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will communicate with clarity and confidence, bringing a thoughtful and considered approach to their work, with a sound understanding of month-end processes, including reconciliations, journal postings, and preparing working papers. With a keen eye for detail and a natural discipline, they work effectively with senior colleagues, offering support that helps them achieve success. They will be either part-qualified (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) or bring valuable experience, backed by a solid understanding of management accounting and financial principles. You’re comfortable using financial systems and have good Excel skills, from intermediate to advanced.

Remuneration:

Salary: £competitive per annum depending on experience

Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week - Hybrid working

Holidays: 25 days plus Statutory days

Benefits: Excellent benefits package
