• Preparing personal and corporate tax returns, ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations
• Assisting with tax planning for a wide range of clients, including owner-managed businesses, SMEs, and individuals
• Supporting HMRC enquiries and tax investigations, liaising with clients to provide necessary documentation
• Providing advice on VAT, inheritance tax, and capital gains tax, supporting senior tax professionals
• Conducting technical research on tax legislation changes to ensure clients receive up-to-date guidance
• Working closely with accountants and senior tax staff, supporting tax compliance processes and deadlines
• Developing strong client relationships, acting as a key point of contact for tax queries

• Part-qualified ATT, CTA, or ACCA, with a strong interest in tax
• At least 1-2 years’ experience in a UK accountancy practice, with tax compliance exposure
• Strong technical knowledge of UK tax laws and HMRC regulations
• Proficiency in tax software such as CCH, IRIS, or similar platforms
• Excellent communication skills, confident in dealing with clients and internal teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• A team player, keen to develop within a collaborative environment
