Business Support Administrator

Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 basic + Package

Location: Wellingborough

Role:

Working for a client within the Highways sector, playing a critical role in supporting our client's operations team by managing administrative tasks, coordinating with various departments, and ensuring operational efficiency.

This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, can handle multiple responsibilities, and excels in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Support: Provide day-to-day administrative support for the operations team, including managing schedules, arranging meetings, and preparing documents.
  • Project Coordination: Assist in tracking project timelines, deliverables, and milestones; support the team in ensuring that all project requirements are on track.
  • Documentation Management: Maintain and organize project documentation, ensuring files are up-to-date, accurately labelled, and accessible.
  • Communication Liaison: Serve as the first point of contact between operations and other departments, facilitating clear communication and prompt information sharing.
  • Procurement and Inventory: Assist in tracking supplies and equipment needs, placing orders, and coordinating deliveries as necessary.
  • Health and Safety Compliance: Support the operations team in maintaining H&S records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • A-levels or an Apprenticeship as a basic level of qualification
  • Experience in an administration focused position
  • Excellent IT skills working on Microsoft packages.
