At GXO, we recognise that it’s our people that help keep the nation moving so due to continued growth, we are looking for Class 2 Drivers to join us in Wellingborough!  You will play a crucial role in delivering our freshly roasted Costa Coffee beans and delicious food items to our stores, ensuring they receive their orders on time and in top-quality condition.

You will be working on a full-time, permanent basis, on an ‘any 5 out of 8’ covering the day shift with start times between 05:00 and 09:00 This role is contracted to 48 hours per week, ensuring a stable and consistent workload.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Deliver tote boards of chilled, frozen, and ambient products
  • Assisting in unloading stock during delivery
  • Collect waste and return it to the site
  • Navigate through busy city routes and handle challenging parking locations
  • Keep a close eye on vehicle defects and wear and tear and report them promptly
  • Ensure that all documentation is filled out accurately and submitted on time

What you need to succeed at GXO:

  • Hold a valid Class 2 licence
  • No more than 6 penalty points on your licence (no DD, DR, DG, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT endorsements)
  • An up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph
  • Commitment to safety and compliance with driving regulations
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work on your initiative
