Wanted: Skilled CNC Turner with Mazak Machinery / Fanuc Control experience. You will be responsible for setting and operating CNC turning machines. Preparing materials and tooling for upcoming jobs, loading and operating machines to meet desired quantities, conducting in-process inspection and checking against drawings and specifications to ensure they are made accurately and to the highest standards. At times you will program online and offline.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set & operate up CNC Mazak machinery
  • Ability to read, interpret and communicate technical information
  • Modify and edit programs to compensate for materials, tooling or machine centre conditions.
  • Program online and off line
  • Manage and Operate Fanuc controls
  • Removal, completion, and hand finishing of components (De-burr)
  • Basic machine maintenance, cleaning, oil, coolant etc.
  • Logging work, filling in route cards, submitting parts for inspection.
  • Basic in process gauging and checking, ability to use various types of precision measuring instruments.

Skills & Experience Needed:

  • Experience in a similar environment
  • Experience within a Manufacturing Environment
  • CNC Turning Machine Experience
