Data Analyst / Data Engineer£45,000 - £50,000Hybrid Working, 2-3 days per week onsiteWellingborough
The ONE Group are recruiting a skilled Data Analyst looking to work at the intersection of data analysis and engineering.
In this role, you'll be working closely with consultants and their clients to understand business needs and translate them into actionable insights.
We're looking for a strong, personable communicator with data storytelling skills, as you'll need to explain complex data sets that drives business decisions. You'll also play a pivotal role in cleaning, transforming, and visualizing data to support key initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis: Skilled in SQL, querying, and using Windows functions for in-depth analysis.
- Collaboration: Work directly with consultants and clients to gather requirements, explain findings, and support with providing solutions.
- Data Engineering: Build tables, views, procedures, and functions. Experience with data cleaning and transformation.
- Big Data Handling: Comfortable working with datasets too large for Excel.
- Visualization & Reporting: Experience with BI tools like PowerBI or Tableau.
Desirable Skills:
- Familiarity with DAX, DBT, and experience working with Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL.
- Hands-on experience with ETL tools like FiveTran, Data Warehousing, and Snowflake.
- Python skills and familiarity with PowerApps.
