Our client is well-established within the Automotive sector and is looking for a hands-on Senior Electrical and Wiring Build Technician to support the electrical department with wireharness assembly, assembly of electronics, testing, fault finding and build support.Job Description
  • Build, maintain, service and test production level assemblies, following work instructions for safe and reliable assembly
  • Carry out prototype and pre-production builds to assist in development of assembly processes/work instructions and to resolve issues prior to start of volume production
  • Research/investigate new and appropriate technology/processes to enhance engineering capabilities
  • Create and maintain build records during the build process
Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
  • Experience of working as an Engineering or Build Technician in an OEM, Tier 1 supplier, engineering consultancy or automotive environment
  • Able to understand engineering drawings including schematics
  • Experience diagnostic and fault finding on mechanical and electrical
