 Head of Finance  - Sywell 

Are you looking for your next finance position? We are recruiting a Head of Finance who is AAT qualified or a QBE looking to join a thriving and growing SME. This is a great opportunity for an experienced bookkeeper /senior finance assistant to develop their career and eventually be the Financial Controller. The business is growing and developing and you will play a pivotal part in this process.

About the Job:

  • You will be responsible for all the bookkeeping for the business including bank reconciliations, purchase and sales ledger and associated invoices and credit control - This is a hands on position. 
  • Agree weekly Supplier payments with a four-week plan in place to manage cashflow
  • Look at all costs of sale and identify where savings or improvements can be made
  • Present Monthly to the Directors of the business Management Accounts, raising any concerns
  • In time you will be signing off supplier invoices. Raising any queries and dealing with accordingly.
  • Manage the Hub Doc process.
  • Ensure with the team,  timely accurate client invoices are being raised on the relevant platforms 
  • Work with the team to ensure margin targets are achieved
  • Work with the Head of Supply chain to generate and monitor volumetric rebates
  • Work with the Head of Strategic Accounts and understand the CRM system and future forecasting and how this relates to the business vision 23/24 - %Mil is on track. 

About you: 

  • Previous experience as a Bookkeeping or Senior Finance Assistant position 
  • Career focussed
  • AAT or QBE
  • Highly PC literate and skilled with all Microsoft Office based applications including Word/Excel/PowerPoint. 
  • Experience with Xero Accounting software
  • Accurate data entry and keen eye for detail.
