We are looking for an experienced Warehouse / Forklift Operative to join our team on a temp to perm basis!

  • Monday to Friday
  • 9am - 5pm
  • £14.42 p/h
  • Temp to perm opportunity

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with 80% warehouse 20% counterbalance operations.
  • Receiving stock on trailers and tipping pallets safely, moving goods to designating areas.
  • Manual handling, occasionally lifting between 60-70 kg.
  • Scanning all goods and manually labelling with location and route number.
  • Loading goods onto trailers.
  • Separating goods into different depot locations, ensuring accuracy.
  • Working quickly and concisely.
  • Breaking down returned pallets and assessing goods.
  • Working independently and managing working area.
  • Checking the quality and accuracy of goods are delivered against purchase orders.
  • Reporting if goods are damaged or when discrepancies have occurred.
  • Picking, packing, and labelling goods accurately from order documentation.
  • Following all training and guidance provided, maintaining health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • In date counterbalance licence
  • Happy to do heavy lifting
  • Able to work independently
  • Experience with warehouse and FLT
  • Good attention to detail
  • Good listener
  • Hard working
