NIGHTS: 18:00-21:00 STARTS

5 OUT OF 7 ROTA (WEEKENDS ESSENTIAL)

PAY RATE: £15.50 - £24.00 PER HOUR

Rates of Pay:

• Monday to Friday (Days): £15.50 per hour
• Monday to Friday (Nights) : £17.00 per hour
• Weekends : £24.00 per hour

Day to Day Duties

Your duties as a Class 1 Driver will involve but not be limited to:

• Collecting trailers of Food Waste from Farms & RDC's
• Operate and drive various Class 1 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations
• Adhere to traffic laws and regulations
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
• Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management

Essential Skills

As a Class 1 Driver you will need to:

• Hold a valid UK Category CE / Class 1 Licence
• Have a minimum of 12 months experience driving CE vehicles
• No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes
• Have a valid CPC Card & UK Digi Card
• Must be able to speak and read a good level of English

Desirable Experience

• Experience driving walking floor or bulk tippers beneficial but not essential.

Training

• Driver's partnered up for a week to train and learn the role.
