Class 1 Weekend Driver

CLASS 1 WEEKEND DRIVER

WORKING SATURDAYS AND SUNDAYS ONLY

AM START TIMES: 05:00-07:00

PAY RATE: £24.00 PER HOUR

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in Rushden, Northamptonshire.

Rates of Pay:

• Saturday and Sunday: £24.00 per hour

*Guaranteed ten hours per day*

Day to Day Duties

Your duties as a Class 1 Driver will involve but not be limited to:

• Collecting trailers of Food Waste from RDC's
• Operate and drive various Class 1 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations
• Adhere to traffic laws and regulations
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
• Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management

Essential Skills

As a Class 1 Driver you will need to:

• Hold a valid UK Category CE Driving Licence
• Have a minimum of twelve months experience driving CE vehicles
• No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes
• Have a valid CPC Card and UK Digi Card
• Must be able to speak and read a good level of English

Desirable Experience

• Experience driving walking floor or bulk tippers beneficial but not essential

Training

• Drivers partnered up for a week to train and learn the role.
