Job Title: Forklift OperatorLocation: WellingboroughSalary: £13.50 per hour or £15.13 per hour including holiday payWorking Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:00About the Role:We are currently looking for a reliable and hardworking Forklift Operator to join our team in Wellingborough. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe operation of a counterbalance forklift, moving stock around the warehouse, and performing general warehouse duties. This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic team and take on a variety of tasks.Key Responsibilities:Operating a counterbalance forklift to move and organise stock.Assisting in opening up pallets, loading machines, and re-palletising stock.Managing heavy lifting and moving pallets around trailers as required.Performing general warehouse tasks, including working with machinery.Using computer systems for internal communication, basic data entry, and document handling (Excel, Word, etc.).Managing 3 breaks throughout the day (15 mins in the morning, half hour unpaid lunch, and 15 mins in the afternoon).Requirements:Counterbalance Forklift License (essential).Electric Pallet Truck License (useful but not essential).Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and the ability to send internal emails.Ability to perform physical tasks, including some heavy lifting.A proactive, can-do attitude and the ability to work independently and within a team.What We Offer:A competitive hourly rate of £13.50 per hour or £15.13 per hour including holiday pay.Full-time hours, Monday to Friday.Supportive team environment with opportunities for growth.If you’re looking for a hands-on role with variety and enjoy working in a busy, team-oriented environment, we’d love to hear from you!
