Adecco Kettering are seeking an experience Workshop Manager to join a large global leading organisation based in Rushden.

Role Overview:

The Workshop Manager will be responsible for overseeing the products, services, and employees within the workshop. This role ensures that all workshop activities, including repair, refurbishment, and storage services, are efficiently executed to meet the needs of the Construction, Industrial, and Used Divisions.

Salary: 50k+ Dependant on experience

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Plan and organize workshop activities, including repair, refurbishment, and storage.
  2. Ensure Health & Safety objectives are met and training is provided.
  3. Lead progress meetings and keep stakeholders informed.
  4. Recruit, develop, and manage workshop staff.
  5. Manage the project lifecycle for internal and external workshop services.
  6. Support budget, strategic plan, and action plan development for the Construction Division.
  7. Coordinate the estimating and bid process for services and products.
  8. Manage the work pipeline in collaboration with the Operations Manager.

Key Competencies:

  • Relevant experience within the industry
  • Hoist experience
  • Proven success in business development and growth strategy
  • Technical expertise in construction, industrial, or access equipment
  • Self-starter with both independent and team working abilities
  • Analytical, with strong decision-making skills
  • Proficient in IT Systems
