About the role

If you are a results-driven leader with a passion for recruitment and a desire to make an impact, we want to hear from you!  We are looking for a talented Recruitment Team Leader to manage a team of 6 recruitment coordinators for our cash and carry business. 

As a Recruitment Team Leader, you will manage, mentor, and develop a team of recruitment coordinators, ensuring high performance, innovation, and successful placement of candidates. You will oversee the recruitment process, to deliver quality candidates across our cash and carry sites. This role requires a strong team leader who can inspire, motivate, and contribute to the strategic goals of the recruitment function.

This role will be managing a team that functions between 8am-5.30pm, therefore a need to be flexible on start and finish times will be necessary. Ideally, we are looking to offer rotational hours of 8am-4.30pm/9am-5.30pm.

Role Responsibility

Overseeing the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring a smooth and effective experience for candidates and hiring managers

Lead, manage, and coach a team of recruitment coordinator to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual hiring targets.

Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and provide tailored recruitment solutions.

Ensure the team adheres to best practices in talent acquisition, while maintaining high standards of candidate experience.

Monitor team performance through KPIs and regular reporting, implementing improvements where necessary.

Stay updated on recruitment trends and market conditions, adapting strategies to remain competitive.

Drive diversity and inclusion initiatives within the hiring process.

You will need

Proven experience in recruitment, in house or agency.

Previous Team management experience.

Strong knowledge of recruitment processes, techniques, and best practices.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a team to achieve high performance.

Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Analytical mindset with experience in using data and metrics to drive decisions.

Proficient in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment platforms.
