An exciting opportunity for a permanent HR Advisor, a start-up role. My client is seeking a proactive and passionate HR Advisor to join their HR team in their venture, a rapidly growing, fast-paced organisation. This is an HR Advisor role where you will play a crucial part in supporting the HR department's daily operations and ensuring the smooth running of HR processes. You will provide expert advice and support to managers and employees on a range of HR-related issues.Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day HR advisory services to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Assist in the recruitment and selection process, including drafting job descriptions, screening CVs, arranging and carrying out interviews.
  • Support onboarding and orientation processes for new hires to ensure a smooth integration into the company.
  • Handle employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, absence management, grievances, and disciplinary actions, in line with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR engagement and well-being initiatives.
  • Support with the implementation of a new HR system.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.
  • Oversee compliance with employment laws and regulations, ensuring the company's HR policies are up-to-date and legally compliant.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops on various HR topics to enhance employee knowledge and skills.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to drive continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to strategic HR projects.
  • This role is based on site 5 days per week in Wellingborough.

Experience required:

  • You must have experience as an HR Advisor, ideally within a fast-paced blue-collar environment.
  • You will ideally be qualified to level 5 of the CIPD or above or equivalent.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
