Engineer

Location: Remote

Salary: £36,000 - £39,000 per annum (DOE)

Hours: 38.5 hours per week - three days 7.5 hours, two days 8 hours

The Role

  • To act as a technical vehicle construction and repair expert.
  • To provide assistance and support and develop the skills, knowledge and experience of Vizion office team so they become more efficient and effective.
  • To carry out image-based desk top inspections and provide authority to independent and vehicle manufacturer repairers to agreed tolerance levels.
  • To review cases of complaints involving technical vehicle construction and repair issues and provide guidance and recommendation on the best course of action.
  • To conduct regular sample audit of the repair network based on Vizion's Repairer Audit Policy in relation to correct claim circumstances, method, and cost of repair.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential

  • IMI VDA - AQP accredited or working towards.
  • A member (or working towards) Institute of Automotive Engineer Assessors.
  • Insurance principles.
  • Effective Negotiation skills.
  • Ability to Accurately Audit.
  • Up to date Industry and Market Awareness.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Articulate clear speech.
  • knowledge or have used Audatex, HPI, Glass and CAP products.
  • Clear written communication skills.
  • Good organisation and time management.
  • Ability to present data with meaning.
  • Ability to present to large groups.
  • Experienced, aware and compassionate.

Desirable

  • Vizion Products (Cortex, Retina, etc.).
  • Autoflow Products.
