MAINTENANCE ENGINEER, £30,000 - £40,000, OVERTIME AVAILABLE, PERMANENT, IMMEDIATE START, DAY SHIFT ROLE, PENSION, HEALTHCARE, PARKING
We are working with a well-established company that supports the construction industry and is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced engineer with a strong mechanical and/or electrical background to contribute to a dynamic and growing business.
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer, ideally with experience in maintaining plant support equipment and a background in pneumatic and hydraulic systems. Prior experience in a specific industry is not essential; however, a strong mechanical and/or electrical aptitude, a keen interest in machinery and maintenance, and a proactive approach to problem-solving will be key to success in this role. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing plant support equipment to ensure efficient operation and minimal downtime.
Duties of the Maintenance Engineer:
- Perform planned and reactive maintenance on equipment as required.
- Diagnose faults and carry out mechanical and electrical repair.
- Ensure all equipment is operating efficiently to support production targets.
- Perform maintenance on internal equipment as required.
- Perform paint spraying on parts and necessary cleaning of equipment.
- Report any ongoing problems to senior members of staff.
- Fill out paperwork in a timely manner.
Requirements:
- Experience working with both mechanical and electrical equipment
- Relevant mechanical and/or electrical qualifications
- Knowledge of compressor systems and pneumatic and hydraulics
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to work.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.
Location: Wellingborough
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000
Benefits: Overtime available, healthcare, pension, parking, day shift role
Hours: Monday - Friday 07:30am -16:30pm
