We are looking for a Part-Time Accounts Administrator to join our clients finance team. This role is ideal for a candidate with experience in accounts and a good understanding of handling expenses, invoices, and VAT.
The Part-Time Accounts Administrator role requires attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work independently and in a team.
Responsibilities
- Review, validate, and process invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
- Review employee expense claims, ensuring they comply with company policy and VAT regulations.
- Assist in preparing VAT returns, ensuring accurate calculations and adherence to relevant regulations.
- Support with monthly reconciliations of bank accounts and ledgers.
- Ensure that all financial data is accurately entered into accounting software and well-maintained.
- Provide support in preparing reports and summaries for the month-end closing.
- Communicate effectively to resolve any invoice or expense discrepancies.
The Candidate
- Experience in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of invoices, expenses, and VAT requirements.
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
- Accuracy in data entry and document verification.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently within deadlines.
- Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
