Experienced Payroll person who is capable of working closely with and supporting the payroll manager. This Payroll position requires a well organised and driven candidate with a solid understanding of payroll who really wants to get involved with as much as they can!

Description

  • Looking after monthly (in-house) payroll
  • Administration around expenses, pensions, renewals of benefits
  • Checking over payroll details input from HR
  • Addressing payroll queries from employees and colleagues
  • Assisting in the preparation of reports
  • Processing and collating payroll related information
  • Maintaining employee payroll record
  • Working closely with the HR team for any payroll changes
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of payroll processes
  • Supporting the payroll manager with any additional tasks or project work
  • Effectively covering certain duties on behalf of payroll manager in their absence

Profile

A successful Senior Payroll candidate should have:

  • A strong understanding of payroll processes
  • Great communication skills and be able to speak to people on all levels
  • Be highly adaptable
  • Initiative and work well towards deadlines
  • Understand legislation and the new UK budget/commercial knowledge
  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good with Excel
