We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and qualified English Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in the Rushden area. This role is ideal for someone who is dedicated to inspiring students and enhancing their appreciation for literature and language.
The role is initially long term with the potential to go permanent from January.Â
Day-to-day of the role:- Craft and deliver engaging English lessons to students in Key Stage 3 (Years 7-9) and Key Stage 4 (Years 10-11).
- Create a dynamic and inclusive learning environment that fosters a love for literature and language.
- Develop lesson plans and instructional materials in alignment with curriculum standards.
- Assess and provide constructive feedback on student progress.
- Collaborate with the English department to enhance the overall learning experience.
- Dedicate time for planning and marking, with scheduled time on the timetable for these activities.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Specialization in English education.
- Proven experience teaching English to students in Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
