About The RoleOCS is looking for a new Night Security Officer PositionSite: Rushden Lakes Shopping ComplexShift Pattern Will be 4 on - 4 Off 19:00 - 07:00 Pay Rate: £12.63 an hourPlease Note this Role is an Outdoor Role & involves Walking around the SiteResponsibilities:- Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel.- Provide a customer friendly, reassuring, professional security presence.- Provide a visible security contact for customers and staff.- Provide excellent customer service.- Deterring anti-social behaviour, theft, and criminal activity.- Liaising with the Police and store management where required.- Completing reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.-Dealing with any difficult situations that arise in a safe and professional manner.Essential:-Customer service and interpersonal skills-Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)-SIA license - DS or Security- Previous experience of working in a Retail Security Role is an advantage but not essential as full training will be given.Experience:
