Field Service CNC Engineer

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Field Service Engineer based in Rushden to join to one of our clients on a full-time permanent basis. This role requires several overnight stays a week. Our client are well-established with over 20 years’ experience in the cutting machinery industry.

Responsibilities of theField ServiceEngineer

• Provide nationwide service on CNC machines.
• Reactive diagnosis, maintenance and repair of machine breakdowns.
• Service and repair of high-specification 4-axis machine tools.
• Fault finding.
• Diagnose and repair CNC machine tools.
• Assemble and dismantle pneumatic and technical mechanical assemblies. 
• Test, install and commission CNC equipment.

Requirements for a successfulField ServiceEngineer

• Minimum 4 years field service engineering experience specialising in CNC machines.
• Experience fault finding both mechanical and electrical.
• Full clean UK licence and willingness to travel/stay overnight.
• Strong working knowledge of 24v CNC control systems, Servo Driver and Inverter Systems. 
• Good communication skills.
• Computer literate.

Salary: £40,000 per annum plus vanLocation: RushdenType of Contract: Permanent Hours: Monday – Thursday 7:30am – 5:00pm, Friday 7:30am – 11:00am
