An exciting opportunity has arisen to work for Northamptonshire Childrens Trust. This is a temporary Social Worker role for the Safeguarding Team in Wellingborough. In this role you will benefit from an hourly rate of £38 per hour umbrella, whilst having the opportunity to work in a professional and vibrant environment. Candidates living further afield can benefit from receiving up to £150 per week for living over 60 miles away from the office (pro rata to £30 per day) (Proof of address required). Working within the Safeguarding Team includes but is not limited to: * Hold cases that transfer from DAAT at the first Initial Child Protection Conference or at the first Child in Need meeting. * Holding these cases until closure. * If case escalate to the court arena or long term looked after the case will transfer to the Children in Care Teams. * Need to be in the office to meet the needs of the service when requested up to 5 days a week. For this position you will need hold a recognised social work qualification and be SWE registered, as well as have sufficient post qualifying experience.
