Contract Position: £30.00 - £32.00 CIS/LTD

Duration: 6 - 10 weeks

Monday - Friday 7.30am - 4.30pm

The company is a UK leading organisation specialising in major mechanical and electrical installations within the food processing industry. The huge range of work carried out by the company includes process pipework and plant installations, planned and preventive maintenance, environmental services and many other engineering services associated with the food and beverage industry. This is a fantastic opportunity for a pipe fitter welder - TIG process pipework, to join the mechanical engineering division, supporting major process pipework installations across the Midlands from the companies workshop in Rushden.

Duties

As a suitably qualified and experienced pipe fitter welder - TIG process pipework you will be working in a modern, well equipped and well-ventilated workshop in Rushden, Northampton. NN10 6FD. Typical duties will include fabricating and butt welding 1' to 4' OD thin wall stainless steel pipework, schedule 10 stainless steel pipework up to 4' diameter, 3' and 4' jacketed pipework and carbon steel up to 6'. Other duties will include fabricating and welding brackets supports and associated metalwork along with assisting other welders when necessary.

About You

Based ideally in Northamptonshire you will need to live within a commutable distance of NN10 6FD.

Demonstrable experience of fabricating and TIG welding stainless steel and carbon steel pipework within a food, drink or petro chemical processing environment is essential for this work.

You'll also need to have good all round welding experience with current or previous coding's being a definite advantage.
