We are looking to recruit a Site Engineer to start in January at Gatwick airport. You will be the sole Site engineer on site to carry our setting out duties on the construction of a full depth road construction project and also work on a drainage scheme. Working for a regional contractor who self-deliver the works on site on behalf of their client.

Previous experience of setting out roads, kerbs, drainage, surfacing works will be required.

Duties will include

• Providing the site with accurate setting out points and levels
• Advising on technical detail and raising any technical queries
• Keep accurate records and as built drawings
• Work with site staff to ensure works carried out to specification

Suitable candidates must have a valid CSCS card, laptop with AutoCAD and proven experience. If you have worked in Gatwick airport previously it would be a great advantage.
