Accounts Payable Officer

Hourly Rate: £12 - £15 per hour

Contract: Initial 3 - 6 month contract with a view to being extended

Work Schedule: Full time, Monday - Friday.

Initially Office Based (Scope for Hybrid Working)

Our client are a local authority in North East Wales to recruit an Accounts Payable Officer on an interim contract. Spencer Clarke Group are working in partnership to find the right candidate for the vacancy.

Role Brief:

The post holder must be highly numerate, computer literate and able to work to a high level of accuracy in a highly pressurised time scale environment. The post requires experience of financial systems ideally in relation to the accounts payable functions.

Key Responsibilities:

What we're looking for:

Part Qualified AAT or qualified by experience.

Ability to communicate clearly with officers of all levels in the Council.

Relevant experience of finance processes and other financial reconciliations.
