Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Design and Technology (DT) Technician to join our team immediately. The successful candidate will support the DT department by preparing materials, maintaining equipment, and assisting with practical lessons. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the DT workshops and supporting students in their learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and set up materials and equipment for DT lessons.
- Maintain and repair DT equipment and machinery.
- Ensure health and safety standards are met in the DT workshops.
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed.
- Support the development and implementation of DT projects and activities.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications or experience in Design and Technology or a related field.
- Strong practical skills and knowledge of DT equipment and machinery.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
