General Production Operative
Industry: Manufacturing
Location: Ryde
Hours: 8am - 4.45pm, Mon - Thu, 8am - 2.45pm Fri
Days: Monday - Friday
Duration: Permanent
Duties:
Working across a variety of departments within the factory, operation of machinery, power and hand tools,
Working to technical specifications, quality standards, established procedures and manufacturing schedules,
collecting materials and equipment,
selecting, fabricating or modifying components to measurements and specifications,
align and assemble parts to build complex units,
report issues, malfunction or defective parts.
Experience:
Must have previous fabrication manufacturing or engineering experience with the ability to read and understand technical drawings, plus good attention to detail.
Must have good hand to eye coordination and manual dexterity with the ability to use hand tools and machinery.
Must have good communication skills and be able to work well on own, to instructions and deadlines, as well as part of a team.
Salary: 11.44 per hour starting salary, to be reviewed after training/ probation period
