We have a rewarding opportunity for a Duty Desk Worker to join us on a full time permanent basis.

You'll be working with our amazing team in The Foyer providing housing related support to young people aged 16-30.

You'll be working a mix of days, evenings and weekends.

The starting salary is £24,242 - £26,000 depending on experience.

The role

As a Duty Desk Worker, you'll be working as part of our team delivering a range of duties in reception and around the building to ensure the smooth running of our accommodation and support service.

Your role will include:

  • Acting as the first point of contact for customers, visitors and callers and contributing to the support of our customers with your daily interactions and contact.
  • You'll ensure the safe and smooth running of the Foyer reception and wider building
  • Manage access and safety for our customers and visitors including ID and verification checks
  • Manage visitors in the building and keeping robust records
  • Preparing robust shift handovers to ensure continuity of service provision.

You will be able to demonstrate proven experience working in a reception or administrative role and the skills to deliver in a fast paced and dynamic environment.  

We are open to the experience you may bring. The right values, approach and willingness to learn and develop with us is essential.

An enhanced DBS checks will be undertaken for the successful candidate.
