The Role:We are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Maths Teacher to join our team. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality lessons across KS3, KS4, and KS5, equipping students with the mathematical skills and confidence they need to excel.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Teach a range of mathematical concepts, including algebra, geometry, statistics, and calculus
- Support and challenge students to reach their full potential, adapting teaching strategies as needed
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and targeted support
- Contribute to the development of the Maths curriculum and department initiatives
- Participate in extracurricular activities, such as Maths clubs or competitions
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or significant experience teaching Maths in a secondary school setting
- Experience teaching across KS3, KS4, and KS5
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for mathematics
- An up-to-date DBS check on the update service or willingness to obtain one
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- A commitment to inspiring students and fostering a love for Maths
- Experience with A-Level Maths delivery
- Knowledge of different teaching strategies to engage a diverse range of learners
- Familiarity with exam board specifications and assessment criteria
- Ability to contribute to whole-school numeracy initiatives
