Robert Half are working with a manufacturing company based in Saffron Walden, looking for a Management Accountant to join as part of their growth plans. The role will be suitable for a part qualified accountant who is looking to progress their career in a challenging and rewarding environment.

The Role

Assisting with all areas of Accounting and Finance within the company, you will report directly to the Financial Controller & MD. Main duties will include:

Role Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of Journals
  • Support with Month End process and production of Month end Reporting
  • Provide support to Finance Manager in presenting information and reports to parent company
  • VAT reporting
  • Assist Finance Assistant with transaction processing
  • Assist with Payroll / Credit control where necessary
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Business partnering across departments and providing the bridge between finance and operations
  • Updating cashflow forecast
  • Creating KPI's
  • Month end Journals and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Assist on Financial reporting on Fixed Assets and maintaining fixed asset register
  • Assist on cost analysis and provide occasional commentary on cost saving areas
  • Ad-hoc projects for MD

Role Requirements

  • Part qualified or fully qualified ACCA/CIMA
  • Strong experience with Excel with knowledge of V-lookups and Pivot tables
