Our client is seeking a skilled Electronics Technician with hands-on experience in soldering, building test jigs, and performing final testing. If you're experienced in these areas, this could be the ideal opportunity for you!

This is a permanent role with multiple vacancies available, offering the chance to work within a dynamic and forward-thinking team.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide essential technical support to production and engineering teams.
  • Repair and maintain electronic radar systems as part of production and RMA processes.
  • Assemble prototype radar systems and sub-assemblies.
  • Test and configure radar systems in collaboration with the Test Technician.
  • Maintain documentation and adhere to change control processes.
  • Design and build prototype test jigs and assemblies.
  • Provide drone operator support for trials (training provided).
  • Support local field trials and demonstrations, with occasional national and rare international travel.
  • Offer off-site support at customer and supplier locations when necessary.


Job Requirements:

  • Significant experience working with advanced electrical and electronic devices.
  • Strong technical competence with knowledge of standard electrical lab practices and procedures.
  • Hands-on skills in building, repairing, and modifying electronic and/or electromechanical equipment.
  • RF (Radio Frequency) experience would be ideal but not essential. Familiarity with RF technologies such as antennas, transmitters, receivers, and signal generators is a plus.
  • Analytical and detail-oriented mindset.
  • A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • HNC or higher qualification in electronics or electrical engineering.
